Bright Wednesday, April 15, 8:00 AM: Paschal Matins (in a somewhat abbreviated form), followed by some Paschal fellowship (Coffee and Goodies) for those who would enjoy sharing such fellowship.

Fr. John out of the office, April 15 and 16: Fr. John will be out of the office on Wednesday, April 15 and Thursday, April 16. He will be back in the office on Friday, April 17.

Tuesday, April 21, 6:30 PM: The April Monthly Meeting of the Parish Council, to be convened via Zoom video teleconference.

NO MATINS! Wednesday, April 22: We will NOT have Matins on Wednesday morning, April 22, as Fr. John is unavailable this specific Wednesday morning.

Out of the Office, Wednesday, April 22: Fr. John will be out of the office all day long on Wednesday, April 22.

Saturday, May 9, 6:00 PM: Our usual weekly Saturday evening Vigil Service (Great Vespers with elements of Resurrectional Matins).

VISIT OF OUR BISHOP! Sunday, May 10, 9:15 AM: On this Sunday, we will host our diocesan bishop, His Grace Bishop Benedict of Hartford, for his annual, formal visit to our Parish. The service will be followed by a festive brunch to mark His Grace’s visit.

Saturday, May 16, 6:00 PM: Our usual weekly Saturday evening Vigil Service (Great Vespers with elements of Resurrectional Matins).

Sunday, May 17, 9:15 AM: Our usual Sunday morning celebration of the Lord’s Day Divine Liturgy, followed by our customary Coffee Social Hour.

NO MATINS! Wednesday, May 20: We will not have Matins (Morning Prayers) this morning, since we are having services in the evening on this Wednesday (see below for details).

Wednesday, May 20, Leave-taking of Holy Pascha and Eve of the Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord, 7:00 PM: Great Vespers and Litya marking the end of the 40-day Feast of Holy Pascha, and celebrating the Eve of the Feast of the Holy Ascension.

Thursday, May 21, Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord, 9:15 AM: Festal Divine Liturgy

Saturday, May 23, 6:00 PM: Our usual weekly Saturday evening Vigil Service (Great Vespers with elements of Resurrectional Matins), followed immediately by the Monthly Rite of General Confession.

Sunday, May 24, 9:15 AM: Our usual Sunday morning celebration of the Lord’s Day Divine Liturgy, followed by our customary Coffee Social Hour.

Monday, May 25, Memorial Day: The Annual Memorial Day Pilgrimage to Saint Tikhon’s Monastery, South Canaan, Pennsylvania.

Wednesday, May 27, 8:00 AM: Matins (Morning Prayers).

Saturday, May 30, Pre-Pentecost Memorial Saturday, 5:30 PM: General Memorial Service (“Panikhida”) commemorating all the Faithful Departed

Saturday, May 30, Eve of Holy Pentecost, 6:00: Great Vespers with Litya to mark the Eve of the Feast of Holy Pentecost.

Sunday, May 31, Holy Pentecost, 9:15 AM: Festal Divine Liturgy, followed immediately by The Vespers of Pentecost with the traditional Kneeling Prayers, followed by our usual Coffee Social Hour.

Under usual circumstances, our weekly Saturday evening Vigil (Great Vespers with the Reading of the Resurrectional Gospel) begins at 6:00 PM on Saturday evenings, AND our weekly Sunday morning celebration of the Divine Liturgy begins at 9:15 AM on Sunday mornings.
